## Pools and Sauna

Two pools. The first heated by the sun. The second joined to the wet sauna, with a heated hot tub, a built waterfall and a deck.

The heated pool stays warm all year, with no gas boiler. The second stays cool, for when the afternoon sun turns strong. The wet sauna and heated hot tub open every day; the built waterfall gives the whole area its background sound.

## Sand Courts

Volleyball, footvolley, beach tennis, frescobol. The sand adds to the effort and the fun.

Two sand courts: one marked for volleyball and footvolley, the other for beach tennis and frescobol. Basic gear is on hand at the inn. Good shade late in the day. Nobody loses a match to the sun.

## Grass Field

Football, open-air training, a match among friends.

An open field the size of a recreational football pitch, for the Sunday kickabout. The cerrado around it frames the play. No high fence behind the goal.

## Children's Playground

A space for kids. The grown-ups can rest while they refuse to stop playing.

A setup for small to mid-sized children, in view of the common area. The grown-ups have their coffee while they keep watch. The quiet of the cerrado lets the sound of children playing fill the air.

## Trails and Runs

The cerrado as your gym. Walks and runs in the open air. No treadmill, no ceiling.

The cerrado around you becomes a natural route. There are no signposted trails, but the hosts know the ground well. Ask on arrival and set off with an easy mind. Before nine in the morning, you can catch the birdsong ahead of the heat.
